There leaves are starting to go limp, what could begin to...
6ft to light, indirect
13β pot with drainage
Last watered 1 year ago
Hi Eddie drooping/limp leaves is a good sign that itβs thirsty. Give him a good watering- let the water flow out the bottom of the pot, but donβt let it sit in the water. Then, let the top inch or 2 of the soil get dry before you water again (go back to regular watering). I hope this helps! Welcome to Greg!
@SillyPlantGirl's advice is pretty good, but on a quick note, beware of overwatering.
A lot of new plant parents fall into the trap of watering way more frequently than they need to. But while plants take up water with their roots, they also breathe with them, and aside from some plants that evolved in environments with damp, dense soil, it will become a lot harder for them to breath if its dirt stays wet for too long, or is too heavy and compacted.
The tricky part is striking a balance between keeping it hydrated, and letting the dirt dry out between waterings. A good rule of thumb that a lot of people use is to stick their finger about an inch into the soil to see if it's wet or not. If you feel some moisture, you don't need to water. If it feels pretty dry, you can probably give it a drink.
Good luck! Hope your plant is ok!
