Hey to all Deep Roots people! I just found out that Bol...
Thanks for all the help and time you great plant people have given to me. You all make me want to grow deep roots no matter what kind of soil life gives me!

2â pot with drainage

1) Not necessarily. When in doubt, withhold water for the rest of the winter and let it just exist. Lithops can hide signs of over watering for a long time, and it's unlikely that one watering would immediately kill it. I've attached a watering guide for Lithops that can help.
2) Focus more on the soil than the pot. Professionals grow these things in plastic pots just fine. Lithops looooove hella gritty mixes. Like literally 8 to 9 parts grit to 1-2 parts soil. You need *just enough* water retention so the plant can actually get a sip, but otherwise the water needs to flow right on out.
