Leaves falling off and turning brown. 15 feet from south ...

#Dracaena
12ft to light, indirect
12” pot with drainage
Last watered 3 months ago
Seems like she might need more light. My dracenas actually love a little direct light in the late evening. Otherwise I have them in pretty bright light.
πŸ’§Overwatering:
The number one reason plant’s leaves start turning yellow and falling off is because of overwatering. overwatering will cause root rot and sometimes pest infestation. So, before watering your Dragon tree, put your index finger in the soil, to determine if the top 1-2 inches of soil feels completely dry. If it feels dry, your plant is telling you it’s thirsty πŸ™ƒ. This low-tech method can be used on all your tropical plants.
πŸ’¦ Under-watering may also be a culprit:
Always slowly water your plant until water begins to drip out of the drainage hole, so your plant’s root-ball will get hydrated. And never let your plant sit in the water that dripped out of the drainage hole, because that will cause it to become overwatered too.
β˜€οΈ Insufficient sunlight:
I agree with @Spellbound . Move it closer to the south window, 15 feet is too far away from the light. Or purchase a full spectrum LED grow light. This plant thrives on bright, indirect light.
πŸ™ This drought-tolerant plant is resilient. So if you make a few adjustments, your plant will make a speedy recovery. This website will give you more causes and ways to fix the problem. https://gardenswhisper.com/dracaena-dragon-tree-leaves-falling-off/
