It’s normal for plants to grow towards the light. You can try rotating your pot so it’s leaning away from the window, it’ll try and grow towards the light again so will hopefully even out a bit. Once it does, rotate the pot every week or two so it continues to grow evenly.
Turn it around so the other side fills out . I turn my plants every time I water them cuz they all grow towards the light
Is that ok?
@DazzlingOasis yes! That looks good. I usually turn my plants 1/4 turn each time I water them. (: Over time, it'll straighten out.
Thank you so much!
Update: longest stem is just doing a U-turn, should I prop it up?
Tradescantia in general will eventually start to trail when their stems get long/heavy enough. If you keep her watered properly and rotate her regularly (I rotate mine every few days to keep them more balanced because they turn so quickly, lol), she'll grow more straight-ish, and you can chop and prop to fill the pot out even more or to make more plants. They root ridiculously fast and easily. My little arrangement here started out as two little cuttings from a plant swap in June and I'm getting ready to pot them up together and chop/prop again to make the pot even fuller.
