Hello there @Lowkeysmelly, your Cypress has a watering problem, would be my guess. Check any new growth if it is discolored it is being overwatered. The soil should drain freely through your soil and run out the bottom when watering. You also should not allow the plant to sit in water this may rot the roots. Never allow the soil to completely dry out. Fertilize in spring and autumn. Growing this tree in a container may require repotting yearly or when your tree is doubled in size. This cypress will grow about 3 to 4 inches a year. If you plan on putting it in the ground this spring it should acclimate well. I wish you the best with your new plant. WELCOME TO GREG.
