Swiss cheese plant ๏ฟผ

#Monstera so what am I doing wrong, my plant is about a year old, and all of a sudden itโ€™s not putting out new growth, and it just grows the vine really long without putting any leaves on, the leaves look a little droopy, definitely nothing, too perky, but the most alarming thing is, itโ€™s not putting out new growth like it used to ๏ฟผ
0ft to light, indirect
Last watered 1 month ago
If itโ€™s receiving enough light, maybe it needs some nutrientsโ€ฆ? Have you fertilized it recently? Mine was doing the sameee thing! I gave it some food and it surprisingly perked up. Another thing I would check is to see if itโ€™s root bound or not.
Iโ€™d recommend checking the root situation! Maybe itโ€™s time for a bigger pot! Iโ€™d also recommend some tropical plant fertilizer!
Hello Crystal ๐Ÿ™‚๐Ÿชด

My best guess is that it is looking for something to climb โ˜บ๏ธ ๐ŸŒฟ
I have mine climbing up a couple of bamboo sticks, and it is putting out big leaves and thriving โ˜บ๏ธ๐Ÿชด๐ŸŒฟ
Or maybe a watering issue or hidrophobic soil reported my pepper plants two of them the new ones and they were hydrophobic and they had so many roots. I was confused why they had droopy leaves. I think itโ€™s because they were hydrophobic the soil was so dry a little bit moist on the top, but I would water almost every day or every day confused because when I go out for a few days leaves and then I water them and they come back to live like the next day right
@Linx would you mind sharing a picture of the back of the plant to show how you have them climbing the bamboo sticks?
@NewPlantMama13 yeah ofc. โ˜บ๏ธ
There are 2 in the pot, and I have then tied up with little rubber bands. They are not as tight as they look โ˜บ๏ธ๐Ÿชด๐ŸŒฟ
@Linx thank you!
So I was watering it twice a week, an I thought it was getting enough, but I took it out of the pot an it was so root bound, so I soaked it in water for about an hour or more an itโ€™s lookin so much better already, I think Iโ€™m gonna get him a pole to climb, hopefully that will help the growth as well
