I failed lol
#Kalanchoe
I got Trigg on Easter a week later she was dried up- with just the one remaining bloom on the top.
I put her outside for a week or two and she withstood some rain. It got too windy and I brought her back in. I see the one bloom is about three now. Will she ever look like her original self?

Forgot to mention, sometimes you can extend flowering by pinching off spent blooms as soon as they dry up βΊοΈ
By the way, you didn't fail. She just did what plants do. I hate how growers use Florist Kalanchoe as a marketing ploy to sell more plants, knowing full well people will buy them for their pretty blooms and chuck them as soon as the flowers fade. I personally find them to be quite lovely even without flowers, but I'm a sucker for any type of Kalanchoe, they're one of my favorites π₯°

Commercial growers force them to flower out of season, then time it just right so they'll be at peak blooming as they arrive on store shelves. Florist Kalanchoe are summer dormant succulents, so if you want to get it to bloom again now you have to trick it into thinking it's winter. The way to do that is you give it 12 hours daylight and 12 hours darkness, every single day for several weeks, and then you *might* be treated to another round of flowering this summer π€·π»ββοΈ
Blooms are beautiful but fleeting. Plants simply don't have the energy to constantly produce flowers πΈπ

Thanks again @stephonicle you rock! Okay. I am glad I didn't chuck her. I did find her still appealing even with just her green leaves. I will try some tricks and see what I yield. I just want her happy- shame on them for tricking us. Happy Polly my ponytail plant got me here. I've been using a free app with no human interaction lol
@stephonicle lookie lookie- just sat him(I've decided he is a boy lol) on the cil - what a difference a few days can make! I hope he puts out a few more. I know it won't go full but I feel better :)
