@FirstDownyphlox Hi Ashana, if you didnβt know, these type of lotus are water growers. Youβll have to keep your fingers crossed in hopes they recover.
I donβt think those are sacred lotuses [Nelumbo nucifera]. They look more like a water lily [Nymphaea sp.].
Generally they appreciate lots of direct light, about 8-10 hours. Plant in proper aquatic soil meant for ponds, and position it such that the top is 10-20 cm below the water surface. Use a standard nursery pot, inside a larger pond bowl. Make sure the top 1/3 of the bulb can be seen.
