All leaves are falling

#ElephantBush my plant was full of green leaves now all the leaves are falling and it’s turning brownish. Only a few green leaves and green branches on the top. I am watching and watering only when needed and it’s near a window to get enough light. Not sure what’s happening.
1ft to light, indirect
Last watered 4 weeks ago
@ToughChangunga I see that it is in a pot without drainage. I would remove it from its pot and look at the roots to see if root rot may be happening. They would be black and mushy and may have an odor. If that’s the case you will want to treat that right away. I would repot in a porous pot with well drain soil. When you do water it let water come out the drainage. I only water mine about 1X every 2 1/2 to 3 weeks. Good luck! They are such a fun bush to watch growπŸͺ΄
@mtplantlady it was repotted month or so ago in plastic nursery pot with drainage.
Ah i’m sorry, I wasn’t much help! I saw that in the info it said no drainage. Not sure what else it could be but I hope it rebounds for you :)
I’ve repotted it again today. I realized the roots were dry and the soil below was very moist. So it’s as not draining well it seems. Let’s see what happens in next few days or weeks.
Elephant Bush can drop leaves due to stress. Check for pests, ensure proper drainage, and adjust watering. Less frequent, deeper watering might help.
