It's hard to tell for sure from the photo, but those leaves look way too big to be a string of hearts? But regardless of the plant type, a couple reasons you might be having issues is the pot is too big and lacking drainage
Need a better photo of it.
I know exactly what that is. It’s a pothos, not a string of hearts. You’ve got too little light, so it’s leggy as it stretches for the β˜€οΈ. You’ve also probably overwatered her if she’s browning. Only water about 1x every week or 2 from here out. To save her: start cutting pieces off below nodes, leave about 6” from root out, then propagate all the cuttings in πŸ’§, so once they root in about 2-5weeks (hopefully🀞) you can put them in the pot with the base roots for a fuller look. Been there! Had a basement apartment once so lots of my plants got leggy. Wonderful πŸ—žοΈ: She’s
Saveable. 😜
Here’s Carlos, my pothos. He & I have been together for many years, & he looked like yours once. πŸ’«
@VeteranPansy I agree with @SumFox looks like a good time to chop and prop.
