Hi first time plant mom. My leaves are falling off please...

#Peperomia
1ft to light, direct
5โ€ pot with drainage
Last watered 1 month ago
They drop leaves when overwatered. They are semi-succulent and need to be totally dry between waterings. It damages the cellss in the leaf otherwise. And since they store water in their leaves they get heavy on an already stressed plant.

That's why they are semi succulent. They drop like crazy when overwatered. She can even go a few days dry and be perfectly fine. So she will most likely drop most of those leaves but if you water much less she'll grow new ones. And she won't drop them unless she gets overwatered again.

She will be fine though give her some time and she'll be back to her happy perky self.
Thank you
