hiya, just for clarification. is this an overwatering situation? its just one leaf and it was a little pocket of water. no signs of root rot. any tips and tricks?
3ft to light, direct
2” pot with drainage
Last watered 4 days ago
Possibly. Any chance water splashed or had a chance to pool on there? I've had that issue with mine a while back and it was a little too wet after I misted and I didn't realize it till it was too late. If the area gets larger you'd be better off removing the leaf imo.
@Rainbow there was like a drop of water inside the leaf. it looks a little see through around the brown spot though. it doesnt seem to get bigger
Hi Lisa,
I know you didn't ask, and this could JUST be the picture, but your light portions look a little TOO light to me, like they are getting a little sun bleached.
@UltraKoreanfir hi, i know! it was like that when i got it but newer leaves look way better. for example the one behind the leaf with the brown spot, on the right. but thanks for saying!
@plantasticplant Oh good! I'm glad that's the old growth and the new leaves are coming in with the pretty lemon lime colors under your care. Brasil is such a pretty plant. Underrated IMO, but that's good because then they're not so expensive.😃
@UltraKoreanfir i know right! i love mine, its so pretty
I think this looks like the leaf has been wet and then got sunburned. Maybe try moving it a bit further back from the window!
