I think it could go either way. Some local outside plants in the area are able to go dormant and come right back in the spring. You can definitely attempt to keep it happy, but you'll have to keep in mind that it will need things your house might not be able to provide - οΏΌmainly the consistent power of the sun. My kiddo has uprooted several different kinds of weeds over the last year and he's potted them for me. I'm always amazed how resilient they can be! Just beware that this plant may go dormant whetherοΏΌ it's inside or outside.
