Holes in new leaf 🫣
Help! My favorite baby has holes in a new leaf. What am I doing wrong? How do I fix? Does this usually mean bugs or could it be something else? I’ve been using tap water and she had been thriving with zero issues. Could it be related to that? 😞🪴 any help is appreciated ❤️ #help #AlboSyngonium #NewGrowth #SpringIntoSummer #Syngonium

They call this mechanical damage. This is damage when the leaf is unfurling either the leaf has been knocked or has got a little stuck when tried to unfurl. Normally if you increase the humidity it will allow the leaves to Unfurl better naturally. If you find that you have low humidity in your house you can always drop a couple of drops of water on the new leaf as it’s trying to unfold. This can add a little moisture and humidity in that local area to be able for the leaf to unfold.
Thank you so much! I’ll definitely try that! I was scared it’d be something worse. I appreciate the help!
