Is she thirsty?
Not sure what is going on- I’m afraid to over water and some of the leaves look shriveled and dehydrated. We took a tree down in the yard that might have provided late day shade in the sun room so it may also be she got direct sunlight… either way, this old lady does not look happy. Any ideas?
So, I'm not a Jade expert but I have a big full one like you that I inherited from a neighbor and I've gone through it all trying to sort out her summer needs as it got hotter and sunnier in my west facing deck. From what I see the leaves look like lemon skin (all dimpled) which, I've noticed means time to water with mine. The sun could be a factor in her needing more water now. If it was just too much sun exposure her leaves would be plump but you'd notice leaves getting sunburn marks first and then getting "crispy."

To ease her into the extra sun you could provide her with an umbrella or some other type of shading as she get acclimated? I'd also let some #greggang #succulentsquad #succulentlove peeps chime in tho... @sarahsalith @Sassylimey @KikiGoldblatt @strawberrymoon
@roxyvivien thank you! I moved her out of the window for now to see if it makes a difference. I also inherited this one from the previous home owner - but she’s been with me for about 10 years. It’s the first time she doesn’t look happy so it might have been the tree. I miss that tree too πŸ˜• I’ll water her some more.
When was the last time she was repotted do you know? Also, does she have drainage holes? I had to repot mind cause my neighbor had her potted in a pot without drainage holes! 🀯😯πŸ₯Ί
Yep- it looks pretty dehydrated. But it looks like @roxyvivien gave you expert information! πŸ˜‰

The only thing I could add to @roxyvivien great advice is to keep your jades out of direct sunshine especially when it's really hot. Mine get about 3 hours a day of sunshine, they're indoor ink and eastern facing window.
@roxyvivien good question! It has been at least 10 years actually- same pot since the day I found her. There are drainage holes for sure. I nervous about repotting but may have to try.
@HeirDionysos if she's double her since in that pot and it's been that long, she's probably due for a repot with some quality fresh soil. Heads up! It's a person job with a big jade. Me and my athletic friend did ours and between the planter and soil and pebbles she was a weighty girl! πŸ˜‚
