I desperately want to say "because it's ivy's job to die" but I'll say it's most likely overwatering. Ivy is SO susceptible to root rot.

I would take it out of the soil and check the roots. How does the soil smell?

@unoloveshorses it's been a few weeks- how's your ivy doing? I'm sorry I didn't check back sooner.

Ivy just wants the smallest amount of water when it's dry.

@sarahsalith Slightly better but not by much :( I read that I should report her so I did which seemed to help a little
