When mine does this it means one of 2 things...it's thirsty...or it had to much sun. If it's the sun mine loses some of the curled up leaves that burn. But if it's water I just water and it snaps back @DirectorGarlic
I think the tan dots you see are pests. Check for webbing. If there are any, then these are spider mites. These also look like they could be aphids. Can you send me a close-up shot of one of the pests?
