Soil or water?

This is what’s left of my white knight. Hoping to save it. The company refund me for it because it arrived in poor condition and was delivered to my mailbox. Any help would be appreciated.
2ft to light, indirect
2” pot with drainage

That can definitely help! Philodendrons are tropical rainforest plants that typically have tree hosts. ☺️ However, they can be quite peculiar. As long as they are in moist conditions, they generally thrive, but be cautious with watering. - But those white roots will grow rapidly here soon! Philodendrons grow quite quickly. πŸ₯° And that combination you mentioned is quite effective. If you have some orchid bark or woodier materials, it will thrive even better!
Its roots look good! You can plant him in some soil and see if it grows well. Just remember, bright indirect light and high humidity! Otherwise, you can always soak it in water (similar to propagation) to encourage a comeback! Whatever you decide, I wish you luck! πŸ€
