False Christmas Cactus

Hey All- I’ve propagated my great grandmothers false Christmas cactus. It has grown a few leaves (with a bud early this year), but has been stunted otherwise. Any suggestions to promote growth? #HappyPlants #FalseChristmasCactus

Can you post some more pictures? It looks like that leaf is dying and I want to make sure the rest of it looks okay. (:

They aren't actually cacti, so if you can replicate the care that your grandmother gave it, you'll be off to a good start.

My concern is that the soil might be retaining a lot of moisture - that's what my Schlumbergera truncata looked like before I changed its soil to better draining soil.
Hi! It’s actually my great grandmothers (she has been gone for 35 years, as well as my grandma). Any thoughts are appreciated @sarahsalith
I have drainage and the soil isn’t dense- I don’t think it’s retaining too much water @sarahsalith
Does this pot have a drainage hole in the bottom? If not you might try putting it in a different pot. For light it likes indirect sun. Let us know how it goes. What color did it bloom?
Mine do great if I Don't over water. I move them into less sun and then more sun when they form buds. They bloom 3 X per year!
@CactusCorner yes I have a drainage hole- I will try moving it - it bloomed orange like the mother plant
