Welcome to Greg, Alice Rose!

Your Cyclamen looks like it was someone's salad.

I don't know how long you've had that, but buckle up! Depending on your season, your plant will go dormant.

Your plant is a #Caudex and it's a cool weather plant. In the warmer weather, the plant will lose its leaves. In the colder weather, the plant will burst forth in blooms!οΏΌοΏΌ

this is one of my favorite plants. Since I've repotted it, I raise the caudex to the soil line so I can see it.οΏΌ

The caudex retains water for the plant so you only want to water it when the soil is very dry.
It seems like they have been extremely overwatered!
Oh really?? I would never have thought that would cause it to look like that. But i do confess to going off script with the watering so that sounds plausable 😭 if i stop watering for a bit and keep her warm, do you think she will survive?
@kscape I was going to say the same thing. Definitely looks over watered.

It's generally recommended that indoor cyclamen plants are watered once or twice weekly depending on the temperature. What is this? Before watering, use your finger to check if the top layer of soil has dried out. If the soil is still fairly moist, you can wait another day or two before watering again.
Ok that makes sense, thanks. It was indoors, but had to move it, so she went out on the deck for a couple days. Now back indoors. Thanks for the tip, will definitely start doing that! πŸ₯°
