I would check the soil. The app is a guide and especially if you haven't had it very long, it takes a while for Greg to learn. If you water it sooner, be sure to make the "water" entry so it will help to establish a better watering schedule. I say this in general because Dieffenbachia specifically have been difficult for me

I water mine every week on Saturdays! And mine is doing amazing. If you watered yours on 3/3, then I would go ahead and water it today, 3/10. And maybe make that a schedule for watering that Dieffenbachia on Mondays. I guess it really does depend on the Dieffenbachia though.

I generally water mine Dieffen when top layer of soil looks completely dry, it's doing well so far.
