Is my succulent about to death bloom?

A present that was sent to me by a family friend recently shot this huge stalk out the center. It grows an inch every day and is about a a foot tall now. Initially I was excited because that had never happened with my succulents before. But I read into it and it seems maybe they do this before dying? Anyone have any more info?
6” pot with drainage

that doesn't look like a death bloom. But if you're worried, you can give it a small (MINISCULE) amount of fertilizer and make sure it has enough water and light. Sometimes they do this before dying, but sometimes they do this when they're happy. It looks happy right now
@SesameSeeds777 oh I’m glad to hear! My fertilizer schedule had me feed them yesterday and I moved the succulent to a bigger pot so hopefully it will stay happy!
I've had this happen before with succulents that didn't die after, so don't worry too much. If you're taking good care of it, it's just happy! Still, fertilizer may be a good idea regardless if you haven't done so in the last 6 months. It takes a lot of energy to bloom
I’ve noticed haworthias like growing their blooms from the center or near the center, and as long as there isn’t a bunch of issues like mold, rot, bugs going on then this should simply be an indicator of happiness!! I think if it was a dying sign, the entire center would be changing a little bitβ€” I had a sick plant push a death flower and the center grew kinda upward with the flower, it was quite unique looking.

Your fairy looks very very good though!! πŸͺ΄
@SesameSeeds777 @itsjordan thank you both for your insight!! I’m super excited to see what this succulent does and I’m so glad that it’s happy 😊😊
