Does anyone know what is causing this?

#DwarfUmbrellaTree

The latest leaves to have grown have these brown spots on and now on of those stem’s leaves has begun to blacken and die. Anyone any ideas as to why?

Thank you! πŸ™

Hello! Im sorry this is happening! Have you taken the plant out of its pot and evaluated the roots for possible fungal issue or root rot?

I’d recommend starting there. Remove any mushy, grey roots & spray the remaining roots with 3% hydrogen peroxide spray. I’d also recommend this spray for orange colored / fungal roots as well! I hope this helps :)
@elisenavidad hey! Thanks so much for your help. I’m going to investigate today and see how it’s all looking down there!
That definitely looks fungal. I suspect you are misting. These should not be misted it will lead to fungal issues. I have heard of people using cinnamon on top of the soil as a natural fungicide.

You will need to treat the plant itself and also the soil. Stop misting her they area fine without it.

You can use a fungicide or peroxide 3% what we use for ourselves.

Mix one part peroxide to 9 parts water and mist entire plant. And also wash out the soil with your mixture. You can also let these trees dry out almost completely between watering.

I have around 10 of them in a very dry area with no misting etc.
