This doesn’t look like other photos at all! What could be...

Hi Jack! What other photos are you referring to? Other users photos? And is the photo on the plant card the most recent, or has your plant declined since taking that photo??
I ask because based on the plant card photo, your Syngonium appears quite healthy 😊
@stephonicle thanks Steph! This is a current photo. When the app identified the plant it showed me all sorts of other plants that had much darker green leaves, basically. I’ve always thought this plant looked a bit washed out pale green - and can’t see any photos of it online with the same colour! But in your experience they look like this?
@FieryJavafern that's totally normal! There are dozens of different Syngonium varieties. Some have darker green leaves, some have lighter green leaves, some have pink leaves, etc. Yours is one of the lighter green varieties. Greg ID's all of them under the generic common name "arrowhead plant". Yours looks like it could be a White Butterfly Syngonium.
Don't mind the dead leaf on it.
@FieryJavafern hi! πŸ‘‹ your syngonium/ arrowhead plant looks amazing! I love it. Look up syngonium on Etsy and you will tons of different varieties. Your might be a moonshine or moon stone? I. Lynknow this because I was looking at a different plant on Etsy earlier today and it also had the moonshine name. So these other plants with moonshine in the. Some were popping up.
