Soft brown leaves
Aphrodite is slowly losing her leaves and they're brown and limp. It looks like overwatering to me but her soil is completely dry. Is it a sign she has root rot and I should repot?

The top layers of the soil could be dry but the bottoms layers could still be soaked . I'd remove it and wash the roots off, pour peroxide on them (cinnamon too to help prevent fungal/bacterial infections and promote root growth)and let it sit out to dry for a day or 2. Then repot into dry soil and don't water for 2 or 3 days. When you do start to water again do so ever lightly. Baby it when you water it by just watering a little here and there and gradually increasing the amount over a period of time so you don't trigger the rot back.
@DazzlingOasis they probably have too much sunlight. They like bright locations but too much sunlight can dry them out pretty quick. Bright indirect sunlight is the best. Avoid shady areas due to increase risk of over watering. The soil should be evenly moist all the time, slightly on the dry side, and reduce watering during fall and winter. It likes the bottom-up method of watering. Lift up the pot before watering , it should feel slightly lighter. Also use a humidity tray to hold the pot. That would be a container with pebbles and stones and water, and your pot would sit on it. Best method to create humidity,
@HappyPlantBFF she was at a West facing window the the side of the window when her leaves starting wilting. I moved her to the east facing window because that's where she was doing her best
@YammieOf3 @Prettyplanty @KrunchyWrap @HappyPlantBFF she took a pretty dive and it wasn't looking good for a while but good news....there's new growthπ₯°
@DazzlingOasis thatβs great news! Never give up on plants until their last dying photosynthesis breath, they are living things until everything is dried, brown and out. Looking for their right spot, and ministering to them can revive them. Funny because I gave up so easily in the past until Greg taught me perseverance.
@DazzlingOasis great news.
