hey! i got a bonsai yesterday and i was wondering how to properly take care of it. i have very minor experience with bonsai, but either than that i have no clue what im doingπŸ˜…. are there any tips and tricks on how to give the little guy a good life? #bonsai

Woo hoo! Welcome to Greg, Birb! Here is mine. It sits in my kitchen window, facing west, that has some large trees so it is a little sparse. The more light it gets, they better it'll look... so your post has actually pushed me to put mine in the greenhouse. πŸ˜†

I'll miss seeing it in the kitchen, it it will fill out more.

I've had mine about four years. I've had to cut it back twice because it just got too big. οΏΌ I have removed it from its pot one time in four years to trim the roots. οΏΌ
Eastern Leaf website has a bunch of videos for care. I looked up the type of trees I have on their site and looked at the recommended care. I also noticed the Greg app wants me to water way less than what my trees want. I soak water them every 2-3 days.
