Manjula Pothos is Green-why??? 🧐

Anyone know why my Manjula Pothos is mostly green none of the new leaves are coming in with any white or variation. I did have it in a higher light location, but it seemed to be burning the leaves now I have it in a bright light but indirect light location and it’s healthy but green. #PothosPack #ManjulaPothos #Indoorplants #GregGang #plantfriendsarethebestfriends #variegatedplants #NEPAGregGang

If a variegated plant is not receiving sufficient light, it will often produce more chlorophyll to ensure it can manufacture enough energy from the light it’s getting… if you increase the light it’s getting, you are likely to see the variegation return
probably stress πŸ€·β€β™€οΈ some variegated plants can lose all their variegation when they get stressed out in order to maximize nutrients. I’m not entirely sure though.. but your plant certainly looks healthy so it may start getting those colors back πŸ™ƒ
@Uzi thanks. Yeah it could be stress. It has t done very great since I got it.
That is interesting! I have noticed mine is very particular. I moved its spot, took a small cutting to prop while I gave it a hoop to grow up and it dropped almost all its leaves. It’s slowly growing on the hoop but it hasn’t put out any leaves. The prop was rooting in water and then didn’t take to soil transition. So knowing how particular mine has been my guess is yours is being very particular too.
@KDkat3 I decided to cut off the leaves that were attached to more green portions of stem and leave what looked like very white areas of the stem in hopes that the new growth will have that same white variegation.
@smushface I’m having such a hard time finding it’s happy place in my house!
@nellz4estfairyz oh my! That is beautiful 🀩 πŸ‘πŸ½
