Struggling wax leaf privet
Does anyone have any experience with wax leaf privet hedges? My boyfriend planted a row of them and one in particular is very much struggling. Just wondering if anyone had any idea of what we could do to revive it. Thank you!

I have an outdoor new wax leaf privet tree just planted bout April4 or so. Said it was a good vegas desert outdoor tree, could handle lots of sun. Seems like now some leaves are turning light brown thanks to all the 100 + temps. Been watering every evening. Or should I water twice a day -early morning too?
@QuickLimabean we’ve been watering every two days now, a deep soak about a min each hedge… and maybe using the shower setting to spray the leaves on the days in between. It definitely seems to be helping because it’s been so hot here too!
