Spots on cerveza n lime

Does anyone know what these brown spots are on my cerveza n lime? Fungus? I will remove them but I’m curious. They’re shiny

That’s possible. I trimmed them. It doesn’t seem to be harming the rest of the plant but yeah I’ll keep an eye on it. Thanks!
