Hi guys!!!

New plant mom here I was just wondering if any of you guys had tips on watering and fertilizing my new plant Jade. Any tips would be greatly appreciated!!
1ft to light, indirect
5” pot with drainage
Last watered 1 week ago
We the wild has the best products or bless my soil has a good fertilizer! But we the wild has a kit that would be perfect!
Let the soil dry between watering and probably don’t get the water on the β€œleaves”. I think most succulents are tgat way.
you can use a chopstick to check the soil moisture (shove it in all the way to the bottom of the pot and see if any wet dirt clings to it). since your soil looks pretty organic i don’t think it needs any fertilizing until the next growing season :) kind of off topic but i think your plant would appreciate being directly in the windowsill rather than on the table, it might start stretching if it doesn’t get enough light
Ok thank you!!!
@strawberrymoon sadly though I can’t move it on the windowsill because my windows aren’t big enough and I don’t have enough room so that is the best spot I have. And you for your insight tho!!!
@OutgoingBanana aw man i see, if you can get them i recommend grow lights! all the best w your plants either way :)
Thank you so much!!! I really appreciate it!
@strawberrymoon got any good suggestions for a growth light οΏΌ
@OutgoingBanana i’ve never had to use them so i’m not sure, but you can take a look at the posts under #GrowLights for recommendations! afaik full spectrum is best but i don’t know too much about them otherwise. try to look for succulent related posts since they probably need stronger lights than regular plants
