Fatsia drooping
My poor fatsia is looking very sad. I’ve had her for years, usually when she droops i just give her a good water and she perks up - but she’s been looking like this for a week.

Her leaves are not dying, she’s just very limb. I moved her to a spot with a bit more sunlight and im holding back on watering.

Anybody with experience that can help me out? #FatsiaPlant

The main reason for your fatsia to droop its leaves is overwatering. Allow the soil to get dry before watering your plant again. Consider repotting your fatsia to a new pot with soil that has high drainage properties if you're having a hard time finding the right balance.

I imagine it needs to be watered. They like bright indirect sunlight.
You've had your plant for years? When was the last time it was repotted? It might benefit from a fresh pot of soil and new nutrients.

Mine also enjoys bright, indirect light.
@KikiGoldblatt I gave it quite a thorough water about 4 days ago, i’m afraid i’ll drown it if i water it more! Or should i just go for it? Hopefully the new lighting situation will make it perk up. Thank you so much 🌸
@sarahsalith I repotted it in december (not my proudest move) but it’s not rootbound. Could it be a delayed reaction to the repotting?
@alba I don't think so. That would be weird... unless the roots were damaged somehow. Something has changed in the last month or so, I believe.

No pests, right?

You don't have a pet that would have peed in the pot or a kid that would do something weird and mind boggling?
