Needs to be repotted. Should I use a self watering pot?

#Aglaonema
3ft to light, indirect
8” pot with drainage
Last watered 1 month ago
Your plant is beautiful and seems to have a great care taker . On the question I think it should depend on your schedule if you are really busy then you should probably get a self watering pot but if you have some extra time everyday you should hand water it or maybe ask a family or friend to help you . Great luck to your plant!
@BusyCentaury69 This is a plant that doesn’t like to dry out completely so a self watering may well be fine if you’re experienced with them . If this is a new plant to you I’d take the added effort to just water as normal . I personally don’t like self watering pots hearing to many plant problems or death if it’s not just right . Good luck in whatever you choose.
@BusyCentaury69 go for it I have a bunch of mine in self-watering..just don’t keep it filled 24/7. Fill, chill, check, and refill. I made the mistake of fill fill fill and not only root rot but fungus gnats…ugh.
