I have the flu at the moment so I’m a liiiiittle out of it but here goes.

First things first, get some easy to sterilise tools for poking about in the media, keep yo salty ham hands out! πŸ˜… humans naturally produce a lot of oils and minerals on our skin, and even more germs find their way there and these can build up in carnivorous plant media which is bad because they usually require little to zero nutrients and too much minerals can kill them.

They can tolerate a few hours of morning sun most places and like to be damp but well draining. Mine all seem to prefer a water daily and hanging pots πŸ‘Œ they’re in 1:1:1 peat:perlite:sphagnum.

Colours: yellowish leaf colour is usually too much minerals either in the media or water. Red is too much sun. Neon green that almost looks fake is not enough light.

Colour loss on the traps is usually humidity or watering related and crispy trap tops usually mean you need to top up the fluid levels inside that one trap, not too far. I use my misting bottle.

That’s it, brain fried πŸ€·πŸ»β€β™€οΈ will check back in a few days though and see what I kissed
patience!!!! lots of patience. πŸ˜…πŸ˜…πŸ˜… let it acclimate slow and easy into your home so the pitchers don’t die. they usually come with instructions. but if not, look up videos by carnivero on youtube. try to keep distilled water ready for them or water filters like zero water that ensure zero TDS does wonders.
