Is it normal?

Is it normal that my #AnthuriumCrystallinum new leaf is already damaged? I have dogs but I don’t think it’s that.
10ft to light, indirect

Hi Gabriela,
It's not unusual for new leaves to have some imperfections. However, if the damage is significant, it could be due to pests, disease, or environmental stress. Keep an eye on the plant and make sure it's getting enough light, water, and humidity. If the problem persists, consider consulting a plant expert.
Maybe it was your dogs. My baby brother messed with my Platinum's [alocasia] leaf as it developed, now it has a hole. When young leaves start to grow, they're as tender as a new born. Just keep an eye on it in case it develops into an infection
