White dots on plant stem

#Peperomia This plant has started getting white dots on a rotting stem that was easily removed without any force.
I noticed these white dots on the plant next to it at the start of the year but was able to remove them on the surface (not sure if they are affecting the roots. Now i have 2 other plants that have similar white dots.
Is this something to be concerned with and do I have to isolate these plants and treat them?

I agree with @Kelsie this is a fungus growing on top of the soil. If I remember this is not harmful to your plants. More likely a warning that something is wrong. Usually consistently wet soil lack of air movement or nutrients. I would scrape the mold off and allow soil to almost completely dry out. Then you could consider bottom watering by allowing plants to sit in bowl of water for 20 to 30 minutes. Stay with a mixtures of hydrogen peroxide and water or milk and water (1 milk to 9 water). Always allow the soil to dry out a little before watering again @PlayfulAloevera
They almost look like fungi - are you using the same soil in those other pots?
Thank you for the best response.
