Should I trim ?

So just wondering should I trim ? She’s grown pretty long. Or should I just keep her on the wire thingy ? #help #Peperomia
8ft to light, indirect
3” pot with drainage

Can you please explain what you mean by "the wire thingy"? πŸ˜› Peperomia Hope are sprawling growers, lots of folks have them in hanging baskets so they can trail. It's up to you if you want to trim it, they propagate easily so you could stick any cuttings right back in the soil.
@stephonicle lol oh my gosh I forgot to post the picture, hold on πŸ˜…πŸ’–πŸ’–
@FabRubbercup ohhh, ok lol. It has a trellis in the pot. If you want it to climb, you need to help guide it by securing some stems to the trellis with twine or plant Velcro. Is that the same pot it came in? If so, I'd suggest moving to a bigger pot with better soil (succulent soil works perfectly for Peperomia). Make sure the new pot is no more than 2-3 inches bigger than its current pot.
@stephonicle lol ya silly me, I couldn’t remember the name β€œtrellis” πŸ˜…. And really a bigger pot ? All my soil is basically succulent soil, since it makes it easier for keeping gnats away β˜ΊοΈπŸ’–
@FabRubbercup yeah, especially if you decide to trim the longer stems and plant them back in the same pot. Then again, you could always go with a hanging planter and let it do its trailing thing. In both cases, I think you'd still need to upsize your pot. If you're concerned about overwatering (and the fungus gnats that follow), you can also go with a terracotta pot. They're porous so they help soil dry out faster.
@stephonicle okay I appreciate all your recommendations, hopefully I have a pot laying around that I can upsize in. And naw I think I got the gnats beat 😎. But still might get a terracotta pot πŸ™‚β€β†•οΈπŸ’–
