Tips on how to take care of epipremnum neon?

Hi guys!
Yesterday I bought epipremnum neon and I was wondering if you have any tips to let it thrive? ☺️ #epipremnums #epipremnum #tipsandtricks #care #neonpothos
5” pot with drainage
Last watered 2 years ago
It will like a bright room but not direct sunlight. Keep the soil moist (not wet) and let the top soil dry out a bit between waterings. Depending on your climate it will probably need water πŸ’¦ once a week. Follow the Greg schedule but don’t water it if the soil is still wet. Snooze instead that way Greg learns and adjusts. Make sure it’s not near heater or air conditioning vents where dry air will blow out. Pothos is a pretty easy going plant πŸͺ΄. Yours is very pretty 😍. Enjoy!
@greenhouse presently it’s in its juvenile form. if you give it something to climb and it gets tall enough, the leaves will transition into its mature fenestrated form. When it gets to where it can’t get any taller in your house, snip the top portion of it and propogated it, then plant it. Let it continue climbing and reappeat this process a number of times and it will start to look like this
I've had mine in front of a window that gets a few hours of early direct light and it's been happy as a clam. They're very forgiving plants that kinda prefer gentle neglect.
@TexanExpat thanks! And does it have to climb? I want it to to be hanging plant and go down like shelves on my bookshelf.
@greenhouse it doesn't have to, but if you want Big Leaves then giving it something to go up will produce that. :)
@greenhouse @Charli3Plant is correct. It need not climb. You can have it trail out of a planter. It will stay in juvenile form (as most do) in a hanging basket. This way you don’t have to worry about it outgrowing ur home lol
