How do I keep #maranta happy?

Happy Sunday #greggang!
My first Maranta is very happy (we had our first flower!) and you all know obsessed over her 😍

That said, I also feel like I am at a bit of a loss about what the next steps might be. My rule of thumb is to leave plants alone when they are happy, but she seems like she is getting SO crowded. Is this just because she is young? I know they vine so maybe it's just because all the leaves are at the same height-ish? She has put up a few new shoots since I got her, but I think only one is still small enough it's hidden.
She also has roots coming out the bottom, but they appear to just be water roots.

Am I looking at a repot soon?
Is she going to want more room?
Is she happy tight?
Do Maranta tend to throw fits when messed with?

Thank you in advance!

@PlantMompy yes you are looking to repot soon, yes some room, yes she is going to to throw a fit. They naturally do! lol but read up on repot and soil type. https://leafyplace.com/prayer-plant-maranta-leuconeura/. Hopefully this will help you in the care of your beautiful maranta plant!! You got this!!
It. Is. Gorgeous. You SHOULD be obsessing over it! πŸ˜†οΏΌ

How long have you had it? Seven months now?

(I might not be the best one to give advice- you've SEEN some of the roots escaping from the holes in my pots!) BUT I'm gonna plant one on you anyway- I think the longer it's happy in that pot, the better!

And when I DO repot (instead of cutting off rooots), I try to take the whole soil ball and just put it in another pot without disturbing anything. I've seen folks remove the old soil to add new soil, and with marantas, I think that just stresses them out. (:
When I re pot my green maranta I don’t fuss with her much. I basically unpot her, shake a bit of whatever is loose, sit her in the new pot and fill in and shake her a tad to get the new soil down around the roots etc. then I water her. She always tends to have a bit of a fit and will dry up a few leaves that I trim off. But I mist her, make sure she has her east window she loves and she perks back up in 2-3 days. I’ve had to repot mine twice in about 1.5yrs. Now she’s in a hanging basket where I plan for her to be for awhile. She can just keep trailing over for awhile.
Mine freaking popped a baby out the bottom of its first planted then I moved it up and it just did it again I’m like what are you doing crazy thing lol πŸ˜‚ but she flowers all the time
My maranta look like OMG WHYYYY DID YOU DO THAT IM GONNA DIEEEEEE for a good few weeks. I lightly watered (more than normal) and now she’s like β€œYou saw nothing.” They are suuuper dramatic! So be prepared. And I do think they’re ok being a bit root bound (in my experience they have a small root system anyway) so don’t rush unless she starts to look unhappy as is. πŸŒ±β˜€οΈβ€οΈ
