It's Baltimore Plant Week and Peabody Brewery is hosting a plant, gardening materials and marker market block party April 19/20th. There's also some free plants and plant swaps. I went last year and had a great time!

Why is there soo many plant events in America. Given Singapore brands itself as a Garden City you'd expect more of these events.

@DapperPineapple it's a bit more complicated than that. You've got to get a permit, after that permission from a convention centre to hold it [they're normally quite booked], after that you have to invite 100s of nurseries worldwide [and probably handle the import + shipping], get the advertising, sponsors, and a darm lot of materials for the booths. No sane person would do it, unless he/she is the head of a large organisation with lots of backing, like the American Orchid Society or International Aroid Society
