Is this plant sick? Or just regrowing?
Hi all! New to the community— hoping to get some advice on this beautiful fig in my backyard. The tree was here when we purchased our home, it was cut down (somewhat aggressively I fear) and grew back over the last year. Some of the branches in the middle as you can see are bare, some grew new leaves which eventually died not too long after. The outskirts of the tree, however, seem to be okay — very green and producing new growth. My question is, does the tree have some kind of disease, fungal, etc, should I prune the bare branches? Or is it just fine and maybe keep an eye on it? Thanks all! #NewPlantMom #figtree #FruitTrees
