A little bud?๐Ÿ˜† Bob is feeling a little offended. Those things are huge(ish๐Ÿ‘€). At least the size of my pinkie-toe๐Ÿ˜‚
I can bearly wait for him to burst๐Ÿ˜ฌ Wonder what colour they will take! Pink-ish maybe, as the buds have red on them?๐Ÿ˜„๐ŸŒธ๐Ÿ’ฎ
@MockingJay ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚ tell Bob i mean no disrespect. Based on flower to bud ratio those could be hugeeee blooms
Thanks so much @RJG ๐Ÿค— Super excited for this; itโ€™s my first cactus bloom! ๐ŸŒต๐ŸŒธ๐Ÿฅณ
These are all so beautiful. ๐Ÿ˜ญ yโ€™all, can you share what potting medium you use for your cacti? ๐Ÿฉท๐ŸŒต๐ŸŒผ
Love this part of the week thanks to all who share such inspiring plants and now crafting. And of course @RJG who compiles with such great care. Iโ€™m showing Green Eyed Lady sheโ€™s been taking off since day one .
An update to my pup, a flower on my mezoo (which also has mealy bugs but I let them live rent free ๐Ÿ™„) and a jade plant revival.. had root rot and I brought it back and this is all new growth on it
I am trying a new setup, in my growbox to supply more light. The others will be added once I have mit more problem under control. Now: where to grow my salad..... PS: I love those blooms all around ๐ŸŒธ๐ŸŒฟ๐ŸŒธ
These are my Wednesday succulents
hydra is working on her plan to take over the world as we speak. i want to transplant her into a bigger pot that also has a fancy built-in drain tray, but at the same time i'd just be enabling her.
Thanks so much for the shoutout @RJG Hey @JesssJungle , your lovely pot cover was featured this week!!! โ˜บ๏ธ
Going to plant these outside
The mamms bloomed again.
๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿ™Œ WOW CONGRATULATIONS EVERYONE!!
These Look Amazing! ๐Ÿคฉ๐Ÿคฉ
Jade and Chiquita seem to be adapting well to their new home. โค๏ธ
@MockingJay I love Bob! Iโ€™m going to have to find one now โ˜บ๏ธ
@TopMonoceritos thank you ๐Ÿ˜Š I love him too!
I got him for my 19th birthday from my sister, 12 years ago!
And this is his first flowering! (Haven't been able to give him dormant winter untill now). I am so excited!๐ŸŒธ
These are my favorite cacti, the big one is about one and half years old and the small one Iโ€™ve had for about three months but I have struggled to transplant. The big one was also one of my first cacti and I think it almost to the size where it will be flowering.
Not a bloom, but so many babies! I beheaded my Dusty Rose a month-ish ago, and she's throwing so many new offsets!
My first succulent, Pallidus seems to be enjoying her view from the top ๐Ÿ’š
These are my newest adoptees to my Pearl Echeveria succulents this week meet Angel and Cinderella. They are came in 6โ€ pots and they are 6.5โ€ wide, I never saw them so big and one has some pups coming out. Any advice for the care of these gigantic lovelies?
@SensationalKoa they are absolutely beautiful, I am a fairly new owner of a succulent so the only advice I could offer is to use a sandy soil mix as a base.
@SensationalKoa Where'd you get those from? Depending on where they came from, a 6" pot might be too big for them. Succulents like a snugger pot since their root systems are fairly shallow.

As for care, a well draining succulent and cactus mix will be good. Water when the bottom leaves can be folded like a taco, and make sure they get plenty of direct sunlight.
@Neatundertaker Thank you, I actually re-potted them today in succulent, cactus, citrus, perlite mix since I picked them up from a big box store. I read somewhere after that if pups were present not to re-pot early. I wanted to make sure it was in fresh soil since care at big box stores are basically neglectful in my opinion.
@Charli3Plant Thanks you for the information and tip. The actual plant itself was too wide for the pot they were actuatlly in, the roots also were fairly long, I repotted them today in succulent, cactus, citrus soil mix with perlite. They were snug and still are. The width of the nursery pot was 6โ€ wide and depth, lol. They are now in pots of 6.5โ€. They get 5-6 hours of mid-afternoon to evening West facing sunlight. I never saw them this huge ever. They both have flowering pups coming out, too.
@MockingJay Canโ€™t wait to see those buds explode! Hope there will be pictures!

How do you propagate an aloe plant from the whole leaf?
@SensationalKoa Sounds like they are two happy plants! Best of luck in your plant care journey. ๐Ÿ’š
We are getting a flower!!!!!!!
