What’s wrong with my mint?

#Peppermint idk what it wants it was outside thriving for a while but it got colder so eventually I brought her in. Shes not unwatered. I’ve tried that least twice. It’s all crispy. Also idk what the stuff is in the soil. #PlantsMakePeopleHappy #HappyPlants #PlantAddict

It looks like your mint plant has suffered from a combination of cold temperatures and inconsistent watering. Mint is quite sensitive to cold and will go dormant or die back when exposed to frost or significant temperature drops. Since you mentioned that it got colder before you brought it inside, that may have caused the crispy leaves.

In addition, it seems like the soil might be compacted or overwatered if it’s too dense, which could further stress the plant. You could try pruning back the dead or crispy parts and ensuring that the plant has well-draining soil. Keep it in a spot where it gets indirect light, and water only when the top inch of the soil feels dry. Mint is resilient, so with a bit of care, it may bounce back.
