Saving rubber plant

So I did it! I’ve cut the top portion of my plant, feeling brave and found the heart to do so after seeing Jessica’s post. Prince’s bottom stem is weak (due to poor lighting) so I am concerned about it not being able to hold the bigger leaves at the top. Any guidance is appreciated, and wish me luck please!!! #RubberPlant #BlackPrince

Do you mean the part still in the pot? It think it it will be fine. At some point you will need to repot. It will be helpful to put the plant in the middle of the pot for optimal support.

@calvina the top part is the one in water, I’m hoping it will grow roots ok with just water.. and the one in the pot, hope it will grow a stem or two! Yes, thank you -will do that!
