2 months ago I sprayed her leaves with neen oil. I cut the grow lights off and they stayed off until the next morning. Could this be from that? She's looking kinda bear now. I've already pulled her out the pot checked her roots and put in fresh soil. Yes the pot has PLENTY of drainage holes. #sadlemontree #happyplants #plantaddict #plantsmakepeoplehappy #citrusgrandprix
Hey Misty, from the pictures the fallen leaves look crispy and dry. That generally indicates either sunburn or under watering. If that’s a grow light just above the plant, the plant is probably too close to it.
You say you turned off the grow light at night like that was wrong. Grow lights should only be on during daylight hours not 24/7. Maybe I misunderstood
Overwintering a citrus will need a little extra humidity, I’ve used essential oil diffusers with just water in them at the base of several plants and it’s worked well. I time them to fill up once daily. Your set up is fantastic, are there any signs of webs on the leaves?
@EdmundG neem oil can burn the leaves when under lights and maybe her leave weren't dry the next morning that's what I was saying.
@Aspottedshroom I have a essential oil humidifier too. I try to keep it running 24/7 but I sometimes forget and sometimes it makes this weird noise so I leave ot off. There's no webbing on the leaves. I put her in tub today and soaked her down. I moved her to the other side of the plant shelf. I have her there for the simple fact that one the humidity in the shelf without a humidifier if 85% and with one it's a 100% and two I'm limited on sockets in my apartment
