My plant is dying and I don’t know how to fix it

I have had this plant for maybe a year now and it was doing great. However, recently the leaves keep dying and I’m not sure how to save it. I keep it under a plant light and have been watering it more often. Thanks in advance for any help/tips/ideas!
Do not water more often. Roots need to breathe. Wait till top 2" of the soil is completely dry. Check with your finger.
The best light is natural light, if possible. Grow light is good when there is not enough natural light.
@recklemencer you are in EXCELLENT HANDS WITH!! @SvelteKingfern 🀩🌱✨πŸ₯³ as a quickie observation @princesspitstop taught me the pretty decorative rocks often suffocate the roots, or hold onto moisture & disease. It might help to clear the soil and check the roots! Best of luck! I’m sure we’ll help anyway we can to get your plant baby up and thriving!!πŸ₯³πŸ€©πŸŒ±βœ¨
@recklemencer Hi Rachel πŸ‘‹ Welcome to Greg! Everything @SvelteKingfern and @Prentyce said is correct. One question however does the pot that your palm is planted in have drainage holes in the bottom? I can't tell from the picture. If not replant it in a pot that has good drainage. It's paramount in its survival. Unspeakable things could happen like root rot if not. Beautiful palm btw! πŸ’šπŸͺ΄
Thank you everyone! I will get rid of the rocks and the pot does have a drainage hole on the bottom with an attached plate
@recklemencer awesome!! It can breathe happy now 🀩πŸ₯³ how about those roots? Any mushiness, foul smell, or stringiness? All signs of root rot. Or is are the roots encasing the entire pot? :) best of luck!! Let us know if you have any questions ✨πŸ₯³
