Should i cut any leaves?

Hey! Just got a basil plant today and transferred it into a bigger pot so it has space to grow, its roots are looking great, i’m just not sure if i should cut any leaves that are browning or slighty ripping, can anyone help me?

Hiiii! @Lorstelf what a beauty!! Congratulations on your new plant πŸ₯³βœ¨πŸ€© you can absolutely cut any leaves that are browning or ripping. It’ll create new growth points -if the plant is growing- if not it will encourage root growth! 🀩✨🌱 yay for plant self sufficiency!! Best of luck! Let me know if you have any questions πŸ₯³πŸŒ±
@Prentyce Thanks so much for the help!! I have cut some off and I’m hoping for it to grow, the roots are gigantic!! they were taking over all the space in its old vase, now with healthy leaves and a bunch of free space i think it’ll grow just fine. Thanks again!! 🌱
@Lorstelf wow!!! That’s amazing !🀩😭🌱 congratulations on your healthy and thriving plant!! Eek!! I can’t wait to see it triple now 🀩🌱✨
@Prentyce Hey!! Got another question πŸ˜… I’m keeping my basil on my balcony but i’m slightly worried that it’ll get too cold at night, should i bring it inside? Sorry for asking so many questions I’m the usual overthinking plant owner πŸ˜‚πŸŒ±
@Lorstelf yes!! No no worries at all 🀩🌱 here to help!! All my basil is dead from winter (that was outside πŸ˜‚πŸ₯Ή). Definitely bring it inside ! :) best of luck!! Feel free to ask more πŸ₯³πŸ€©
@Prentyce Okay! Thanks so much!! It’s actually summer here where i live but we’ve been having some chillier days so i got worried πŸ˜‚ it’s around 65Β°F every night so i didn’t think it would be good to have it outside. Thank you! 😁🌿
