Does the yellow on the edges of my leaves mean I need to ...

I wouldn't say more often. Typically yellowing leaves means overwatering. This can also be caused by too much light (direct) or a lack of minerals like potassium.
@BreBreezy @jkdykes is this an older leaf or a newer leaf? What does your soil feel like right now? If your info card is correct and you haven’t watered this one for 30 days , and this is an older leaf, this is underwatering. Plants use their oldest leaves as a β€œwater bottle,” because they’re the least important to the plant in regards to photosynthesis. So if your plant is thirsty, it will start β€œdrinking” the water from the oldest leaves, therefore turning them yellow. If you were to cut it off it would just make the next oldest leaf turn yellow. So im going to say this is underwatering, and to give your monstera good drink 😊 (also sometimes we freak out and DRENCH them if we realize they’re under watered. Dont do this, try to just give it a regular good drink, and check again in a week or so to see if you need to water again.) πŸ’–πŸŒΏ
@DreamMachine - im putting that in my plant journal. I didnt know that about older leaves. I didn't see drooping or crispy edges, so I didn't consider underwatering.i skipped straight over the most simplest of options. Lol
@jkdykes ooh yay! That makes me happy 😊 Isn’t it cool? I love nerding out on botany. And a lot of β€œoverwatering” is actually caused by underwatering, lol. If they get too thirsty, the tiny root hairs die first, so then when we correct it and water, suddenly there’s more water than the roots can deal with and then you get all those typical β€œoverwatering” symptoms. If you want to dive a little deeper, the podcast β€œThe Houseplant Coach,” on Spotify (and probably other platforms too, I just happen to listen on Spotify) had some great episodes on it. I’ll be back with a link πŸ”— πŸ’•

@DreamMachine So mostly all the leaves are like that. I don’t follow the water schedule on the Greg app. Now, I was neglecting watering it only because I had gnats 😬
@jkdykes I’m thinking it’s lacking nutrients. I bought some plant food. So hopefully it will help my leaves 🀞🏽
@BreBreezy Are you fertilizing? Monsteras are super heavy feeders. I lightly fertilize mine with superthrive foliage pro (1/4 tsp per half gallon of water) every time I water, except for plain water flushes every couple months while I see it growing 🌿
@BreBreezy YES πŸ‘πŸΌπŸ‘πŸΌ
@DreamMachine I recently bought this..and I’ll water it every week and see how it goes. Well, until the soil is dry.
@BreBreezy that looks like a good gentle fertilizer πŸ‘πŸΌ Do me a favor and take a picture for me of the β€œnutritional info” lol when you get it. It says 6-2-4 for the NPK ratio which is good, those are the macronutrients, but I want to see if it has micronutrients too!
@DreamMachine Ok I will definitely.
@DreamMachine Sorry I’ve been meaning to send you this..
