Struggling ZZ Zenzi

Zena has struggled since I first get her. She arrived soaking wet, got root rot, lost half the plant. Propped one piece of a branch I saved from the rotted rhizome. This poor baby is still struggling, and I am at a loss to know what to do 😰😭
I have 7 other ZZ plants that are doing well. Any help will be much appreciated. TIA #zzplant #zzzenzi

Hey, Sarah. Is the yellow part the plant that you propped? It just might just not make it. I've personally had a HECK of a time propping ZZ plants.
@raquelitaque is right, they do seem to grow so slowly, especially if they are in an area with low light and I think Zenzi grow even more slowly than the regular version (but it's still on on my #wishlist).

I would keep it in bright, indirect light to give it as much grow time as possible and take a picture once a month. I think looking back over your photos in March or April, you'll see more growth.

I have a plain ZZ in my bathroom and in the almost two years it's been there, I've only gotten two new stems.

I have another ZZ, a Raven from a tuber, and I think it's been the same size for a YEAR! 🫠
Did you recently repot into this one? Sometimes a couple leaves will die with a change in environment. But the other leaves look good! I can’t tell if this pot has drainage, but ZZs do better with getting dry in between waterings. They don’t like to sit in damp soil too long.
Also, ZZs can take a long time for new growth! I would let your plant be for a while, and hopefully your patience will be rewarded! Good luck!
Thank you @raquelitaque I've had this ZZ quite a while, not sure hasn't been re-potted and yes definitely has drainage. And yes, she'si always let her dry out between waterings.
@sarahsalith that yellow part is part of the original ZZ. She was a wish list plant, but she's been a problem since day one 😭
My Raven sits there just the same as the day I got her, but I know they're s...l...o...w growers. My chameleons are shooting out new growth like crazy along with two of the regular ZZ's. This Zenzi gives me headaches 🫣
I agree with all the above!! She looks pretty happy and will probably just take a little bit to fully acclimate after all the previous activities. I did notice when I fertilized and put mine under a grow light my raven finally started giving me new stems.
