Scale or scarring? 🤔

Question

I've got this #dragonfruit cactus that I got from @Colin a few months ago and I've noticed these light brown markings on it... I'm entirely unsure if there's more of them than when I first got it cuz my memory sucks butts... Anyways, what do y'all think? It's it anything to be worried about or is it probably nothing?

Have you tried scratching them off? If so, I just say scale and start treating. If not, the scarring would be embedded into the flesh and it would not be easily removed by scratching 😅

Now that I see these start treating it for scale. Just in my opinion.
