Yep! For these plants it’s a great idea to follow your instincts. If your soil is very draining it will need to be watered a lot more frequently. Greg had to relearn how frequently I need to water my Gold Dust Croton. Now I water mine every other day and she still starts to droop sometimes. I’m using a soil less chunky mix so for me it makes sense because it doesn’t hold water. Make sure your soil isn’t staying moist but soon as your croton starts to droop, water quickly or you’re going to lose some leaves! 🍃 They’re quite dramatic 😊
